When do summer graduates need to submit their diploma application?

Since the University doesn’t hold a summer commencement exercise, students who meet the graduation requirements to graduate at the end of the summer will need to file their diploma applications with the office of the Registrar no later than April 1st to guarantee their names will appear in the Spring commencement book.

What happens if I miss the diploma application deadline?

Failure to submit a diploma application or graduation clearance form will result in the delay of your graduation clearance, receipt of diploma, and verification of degree earned.

When does my Bursar account need to be paid?

All Bursar accounts and Financial Aid holds must be cleared prior to receipt of diploma.

If I applied to graduate one semester and did not, do I need to re-apply?

Yes, if you applied for graduation in a previous semester and did not graduate, you must re-apply for graduation.

When will I receive my diploma?

Diplomas are usually available to students approximately 6-8 weeks after their graduation date.

Can someone else pick up my diploma for me?

To authorize someone else to pick up your diploma, you need to complete a Diploma Authorization Form.

Can I re-order my diploma?

To re-order a diploma, you will need to complete a Diploma Re-Order Form. The cost of replacement diplomas is $35, plus any applicable shipping fees.

What is the deadline to submit a diploma application?

Undergraduate students who plan to graduate in the Spring or Summer need to submit the Diploma Application before April 1. Undergraduate students who plan to graduate in the Fall need to submit the Diploma Application before November 1. Graduate students who plan to graduate in the Spring or Summer need to submit the Diploma Application before April 1.
